This year’s event promises to offer inspirational insights and a fantastic opportunity to network with lighting professionals from across the country. It brings together lighting professionals from across our industry, including manufacturers, contractors and consultants, as well as designers and engineers. It’s the perfect opportunity to learn about innovation in the lighting industry and to network with fellow lighting professionals.
An Insight into Lighting Innovation
Lighting Live 2026 takes place on 17 – 18 June at Millennium Point in Birmingham. As well as being proud headline sponsors of the event, Charles Endirect is exhibiting at the conference.
This year’s conference shines a light on Innovation, showcasing the innovative ideas, technologies, and approaches that are shaping the bright future of the lighting profession. It also highlights the trends and technologies transforming how lighting is optimised and integrated into our built environments. This theme suits us perfectly as Charles Endirect is known for our innovative approach to the design and manufacture of products for the lighting industry.
A Busy Schedule!
This will be the first exhibiting event that Nathan French, Marketing & Sales Director at Charles Endirect has attended since joining the company in April. (You’ll find us at stand 8.) ‘I’m looking forward to the conference enormously,’ says Nathan. ‘As well as the technical papers and panel discussions involved, it’s a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with people within our industry. I’ve worked in lighting for many years, and it’s always enjoyable to meet new people and catch up with existing contacts at events. It will be great to represent Charles Endirect this year.’
Joining Nathan at Lighting Live is Alan Read, our National Area Sales Manager. Nathan and Alan will be jointly presenting at the event. They promise it will be interesting … and different! Be sure to catch them on 17 June in the auditorium at 2pm.
As well as a mix of thought-provoking presentations during the conference, the evening before the event, 16 June, offers a free keynote session. ‘How to be Brilliant’ explores how cities can be safely lit without overwhelming the night.
There’s also a gala dinner to enjoy on the evening of 17 June, between the two conference days. It takes place in the unique setting at the Library of Birmingham. Football fans will know that this clashes with England’s World Cup clash with Croatia. Don’t worry – plans are in place to screen the game!
