What do you need for festive lighting at a public event?
There are several products to consider when organising festive lighting installations:
Designed to blend discreetly into their surroundings, these units operate when closed, helping to minimise visual impact and reduce trip hazards. They receive power from a main source and safely distribute it to multiple outgoing circuits, making them a practical and aesthetically pleasing solution for public spaces. These units are the perfect example of hidden infrastructure, visible performance.
Pre-wired distribution cabinets, also known as feeder pillars, are built to withstand changing weather conditions (they are resistant to rain and dust). They can take power from the mains supply or a generator and distribute electricity safely across your installation. Charles Endirect feeder pillars are available in black, green and grey, but there is scope to be creative too. Our own distribution cabinet at our Wincanton site has been fully branded, showing how these units can be adapted to suit your organisation or a theme.
Current safety standards require double-pole isolation of circuits for safe maintenance and installation. Isolators break and isolate the circuit without any risks. Our festive isolator range includes additional benefits such as the Charles Endirect sliding interlock, time switch control and RCBO safety (to help guard against electrical shocks and overheating). All Charles Endirect isolators meet the requirements of BS7671 IET Wiring Regulations and BS EN 61439.
