Summer 2025 has been very busy at Charles Endirect’s Wincanton base.
Last month, we reported our need for a larger production, assembly and testing facility together with additional storage space. We’re already over halfway through our project and we’re delighted to let you know that our expansion is progressing according to plan. It’s exciting to see our plans come to life!
Our new tempastore building is finished, complete with new racking. Our new forklift is needed to manage the increased height of our store! The new building extension is taking shape nicely with the groundworks now complete.
We look forward to maximising the additional space. It is enabling us to bring more of our supply chain onshore. By increasing our manufacturing and storage capabilities, we are able to reduce lead times and lower our carbon footprint, benefiting our clients and beyond.
Alongside the building work, we’ve also enhanced our site with two newly installed Electric Vehicle charging stations. These chargers, available to our staff and visitors, demonstrate our commitment to the environment.
A further highlight of the project has been the inclusion of a Charles Endirect-branded pillar, one of our flagship products. We couldn’t resist showcasing it! We’re sure you’ll agree it’s a striking addition to the site.
